New style for the 2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio

There's something new at Alfa Romeo this year. In addition to the Tonale SUV, which is making its debut, there are major styling changes for the company's two veterans, the Giulia sedan and the Stelvio SUV. They will be effective as of 2024 with the models reserved for North America.

Here's what's in store for these two models.

At the front

First, let's mention that the improvements are subtle, but they allow the sedan and the SUV to offer a refreshed look. Keep in mind that both models have been on the menu for six years. With the upgrades, it doesn't look like it at all.

The biggest change is the new design of the part that gets new headlights with matrix LEDs. The bumper is revised with new designs for the air intakes. The headlights now consist of three elements forming the daytime running lights, a design first seen on the new 2023 Tonale SUV.

In the back

Behind, the Stelvio has new clear-lens lights, while the Giulia's have a smoked lens with a gloss black finish.

An overall look at the rear section makes us realize that while the changes are minor, they have a major impact on what the model exudes in terms of refinement.

The models are also equipped with 21-inch alloy wheels and red brake calipers, which can be admired.

On board

Another key change is found in each cabin where the driver is greeted by a new 12.3-inch digital display instrument cluster rather than a 7.0-inch screen. The multimedia system's touchscreen remains unchanged at 8.8 inches. Contrasting stitching will still be present to add a touch of richness to each vehicle's cocoon.

As for what's under the hood, no changes have been made to the powertrains. The Giulia and Stelvio are currently offered with either a 280-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder or a 505-horsepower, 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6. The latter is reserved for Quadrifoglio variants. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard across the range.

The models will arrive later this year.
