Alfa Romeo vehicles are unique in the world. Even if in North America, where only two (soon to be three) models to be made available on the market, they are the talk of the town and generate excitement. That's what you see when a brand has passion for cars in its DNA.
That's why the two models you know have just received the ultimate treatment, once again pushing their high-end features. We're talking about the ESTREMA finish. It was presented in Hinwil, Switzerland, at the headquarters of the Alfa Romeo Formula 1 team.
And what do they have in store for them? Various things, in fact, and always of a high standard.
On the technical side, for example, the new active suspensions are standard. They have an exceptional capacity to adapt to various road conditions, but also to the driving style. They also add comfort, but without ever affecting the sporty driving experience. Imagine a constant harmonious discussion between all the components of the chassis frame of the vehicle, with the sole purpose of having the car give you exactly what you want while driving.
And when time comes to push a model on the open road, ESTREMA versions will respond with ease, as they come standard with the mechanical self-locking. This ensures optimal stability and control, no matter what the road conditions are. It has the ability to distribute torque and provide grip at all times, whether it's on corner exits, at high speeds or during heavy acceleration.
As you might have guessed, the ESTREMA versions are aimed at driving enthusiasts, which virtually means all Alfa Romeo customers. The enthusiasts will recognize the contribution of the technical solutions brought to these versions behind the wheel.
As for the styling, it reveals the brand's racing DNA with the predominant use of carbon. The mirrors' shells benefit from it, as well as the V of the front grill. The interior also features beautiful accents, with Alcantara-covered seats. Add that red stitching on the dashboard, seats, steering wheel and shifter and you have an environment that can be admired.
Even the ESTREMA logo on the bumper has dark shades that can't go unnoticed.
Under the hood, the ESTREMA versions will benefit from the 2-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine of the regular versions, a system that offers 280 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque and an eight-speed automatic transmission transmits the power to the wheels.
The ESTREMA models are starting their world tour in Europe, but watch for their arrival in Canada very soon and discover them with us.
